The company

The translation company metafraseis.de* was established in Düsseldorf in 2007.

Since then, we provide translation and interpretation services, with an emphasis on quality and prompt customer service.

Our office is located in the “Greek” neighbourhood of Düsseldorf with easy access by public transport. It is a five-minute walk from the main train station and eight minutes from the Consulate General of Greece in Düsseldorf.

The company is headed by Elisavet Athanasiadou, who is a certified translator and a sworn interpreter authorised by the Supreme Court of Düsseldorf. She is a member of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ).

She is a graduate of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Master of Arts from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.

Elisavet has also studied in the USA (University of Whitewater) and in Turkey (TÖMER – University of Ankara). She is a graduate of the German School of Athens.

She has been teaching Greek at the University of Duisburg-Essen since 2007.
